  15. I'm glad someone appreciates me...  :-)  Actually, _all_ of the current
  16. crop of computers (Amiga 4000, Atari Falcon, Macs, any PC) have some
  17. serious shortcomings.  I like to know the limits of all the systems; it
  18. seems like I've been searching for a new computer for five years or so!

  28. No kidding.  Mention great DTP (hey, even PageStream is ok, despite its
  29. serious speed problem) or even music programs these days and people say,
  30. "No, you want a Mac."  Mention video, they say you want an Amiga. 
  31. Mention any word processor, they say you want AmiPro for Windows...

  47. They seem hell-bent on building < $1k systems, even if there's no market
  48. for them.  I haven't heard of a _single_ computer purchase of new
  49. hardware from anyone where they spent less than $2.5k total, even for
  50. "low-end" PCs.
