- I'm glad someone appreciates me... :-) Actually, _all_ of the current
- crop of computers (Amiga 4000, Atari Falcon, Macs, any PC) have some
- serious shortcomings. I like to know the limits of all the systems; it
- seems like I've been searching for a new computer for five years or so!

- No kidding. Mention great DTP (hey, even PageStream is ok, despite its
- serious speed problem) or even music programs these days and people say,
- "No, you want a Mac." Mention video, they say you want an Amiga.
- Mention any word processor, they say you want AmiPro for Windows...

- Atari, move quick? Oh yah, we're dreaming... :-\

- They seem hell-bent on building < $1k systems, even if there's no market
- for them. I haven't heard of a _single_ computer purchase of new
- hardware from anyone where they spent less than $2.5k total, even for
- "low-end" PCs.

- Hey, whatever happened to that software they were porting to the SGI?
